Permitting Process

With an infrastructure project the size and scope of the Portal Bridge Capacity Enhancement Project, Federal, State and other agency permits are necessary throughout the design and construction phases. Permits ensure that the project adheres with agency regulations and are necessary for tasks such as surveying, geotechnical work, and construction. In order to obtain the necessary permits, extensive coordination is required between the project team and the permitting agencies.
